Fiestaware Plates

Cuisinart or Fiestaware? Two peas in the same pod?

I purchased the 7-piece Cuisinart Chef's Classic Cookware Set five years ago, and my life has changed for the better ever since. I'm not an excellent cook, but I feel that my dishes now come out better than they ever had before. It's been 2 years since I first bought them, and nothing has changed in their appearance. I love that they still look brand new when they come out of the dishwasher. This starter set cost me less than my budgeted amount of $100 for a set, and yet they still look very classy and still are fully functional up until now.

Cooking meals was never my specialty. I usually just follow the recipes from easy-to-make cookbooks, but creating meals my new cookware has luckily been a breeze. For one, I don't like lifting heavy objects because I'm a tiny Asian woman, but I still need to make food for my family of five. It never is a problem with my new cookware, because they are lightweight. It's easy to toss my pancakes and cook my scrambled eggs! I love the copper layer because it distributes the heat very easily, and I don't have a problem with making sure that my meals are well done.

My family loves their food cooked well done. I used to think that I had a problem with undercooked or overcooked meals with my old set, but I realize that it wasn't me after all. My old set wasn't well conducted for heat, cooking one side more than the other. This made it difficult for me to prepare dishes that needed evenly distributed heat. With even heat distribution, I can leave my steaks to simmer, and not worry that one side will come out rare, while the rest of the meat would come out almost burnt to a crisp. I don't have that problem anymore, luckily.

I know times are hard; our family has had to cut down on our expenses. We had to reduce our weekly dinners out from twice a week to twice a month. I didn't want to take away the tradition of eating nicely made meals twice a week, so I increased my efforts to creating more special meals for my family. With my new cookware, I have been able to successfully create seafood dishes with much ease. It is really easy with this set to create almost anything that anyone wants. Even my children are getting more interested with contributing in the kitchen, because the Cuisinart Classic Cookware Set makes it easy for them to use. Now, we don't even want to eat out so much. My family prefers to prepare their dishes with me in the kitchen. We get to save a large chunk of money, and have closer relationships with each other.

I dropped a lid by accident, and it had a small crack. It wasn't a big, noticeable crack, but I wanted to retain the complete beauty of my set, so I emailed Cuisinart about my cookware problem. The most wonderful thing happened: they replied and sent me a replacement lid! I was more than happy to receive this, and love that they value their customers. They know the importance of customer reviews, and this is an additional rave I have about their company. They were able to respond immediately, and ensure that I was completely satisfied with their service. Would the good folks at Fiestaware have done the same thing had I dropped Fiestaware plates or Fiestaware dishes? I'm not really sure

My 7-piece Cuisinart Classic Cookware Set has proven its lifetime worth to me, and I'm glad I was able to find it. Now that my daughter is going off to college, I wanted to give a set exactly like this to her. She loves her time in the kitchen, and helps me out whenever she can. I opted to buy her the 10-piece set. She loved the new set, but she wanted to get the set that was in our family already. This was her way of keeping home even while in college. I got to upgrade my set to a 10-piece, and she inherited my old set. I'm so glad that even when she is away, she still has a piece of our family with her.
